AWTA Service Time Alert - Workload Pressure

Like all businesses and organisations across Australia, AWTA has recently suffered a spike in staff absenteeism due to COVID. This unpreventable event has coincided with a substantial and significant increase in work load, particularly EXPRESS work, as clients endeavour to place wool in the final sale before a three week recess.

-1.6%, -0.8% and -0.5% respectively.

Change to Certificate Logo - NATA Endorsement

The keen eyed among you may notice a small change to one of the logo's emblazoning the right hand side of all Test Certificates issued by AWTA Ltd. The new NATA endorsement logo, shown below, will be printed on all Test Certificates from 1st July 2022 onwards and replaces a similar black & white image. The change was necessary to conform with NATA standards.

Australian shorn wool production continues a steady increase

The latest Australian Wool Production Forecasting Committee’s forecast of shorn wool production for 2021/22 is 314 Mkg greasy, up 6.5% on 2020/21. Most key wool producing regions continue to enjoy favourable seasonal conditions which has boosted per head production.
