Following the successful proficiency trials conducted with the West Australian Department of Agriculture and Food, Agrifood Technology WA now holds a status as an approved laboratory for the assessment and analysis of liming materials in accordance with Lime WA Code of Practice. Agrifood Technology is a division of AWTA Ltd.
Agrifood Technology offers a range of test packages for liming material, ranging from the full Code of Practice suite to smaller packages customised to clients’ specific requirements. The range of tests includes the assessment of the Neutralising Value, Particle Size Distribution and Percent Calcium and Magnesium on sample matrices such as Limestone, Dolomite and Lime Sand. All analysis is conducted using reference methods in accordance with the British (EU) Standards and the AOAC (Association of Official Analytical Chemists).
