Charity Auction raises funds for Make-A-Wish foundation

Over 400 fleeces that were entered into this year’s Australian Fleece Competition in Bendigo in July 2014 have been sold at a charity Auction, raising almost $8,000 for the Make-A-Wish foundation. The fleeces were all donated by wool growers and sold by Landmark.
The Make-A Wish foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions and has helped 8,000 children and their families since it was founded in Australia in 1985.
The Australian Fleece Competition is the country's largest fleece event and thanks to the generosity of exhibitors, 14 national charities have received a share of the $100,000 raised since its inception.
