AWTA Alert - Interruption to Issuing of Results - Melbourne

Due to a plant breakdown at a critical supplier and with no notice to AWTA, we have been impacted by a national CO2 gas shortage. In turn this limits our ability to issue tests from our Melbourne laboratory. This affects clients based in Victoria, NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania.
The management team are actively working at implementing measures to minimise the impact on clients across the Eastern states, but there will be some delay in issuing results.
At this time neither BOC Gas or Air Liquide can provide us with a timeframe for the rectification of this shortage, and they have advised AWTA that medical facilities are being prioritised.
