The bushfires in the Dunedoo/Coolah/Cassilis areas in the central West of NSW have devastated dozens of farming properties with an estimated 54,000 hectares burnt.
There have been stock losses in these areas but, amazingly, some good news is coming through of stock that has been saved. Many properties have lost as much as 90% of their grazing areas and, whilst hay is being delivered, longer term agistment is desperately needed until it rains.
If anyone has a spare paddock and can handle a truckload or two that will enormously help ease the pressure these people are under.
