Premium Yield Test

Occasionally clients with an urgent requirement for test results can be frustrated by small delays in the issuing of test results due to the need to perform the testing of additional sub-samples or “check-testing”. This happens more frequently with lots that contain a wide range of wool such as blends. It occurs when the variation between measurements exceeds specific tolerances that are designed to prevent inaccurate test results from being issued.

Grand Final Public Holiday 2015 - Victoria

The Victorian State Government has recently declared that Friday 02 October 2015 will be a public holiday in Victoria. Clients should note that the AWTA Raw Wool Melbourne Laboratory will be open for business as usual on this day. 

Wool Broker of the Year 2015

The winner of the 2015 National Council of Wool Selling Brokers of Australia’s Wool Broker Award to recognise excellence in wool broking in Australia has been announced. Matthew Thomas of Landmark was selected by the independent Selection Panel as the winner. Andrew Howells of Elders and Todd Clark of Schute-Bell were the other two Finalists.
