Le deuxi\u00e8me bulletin pr\u00e9visionnel du Comit\u00e9 australien de pr\u00e9vision de la production laini\u00e8re pour 2014\/15 r\u00e9vise la production de laine tondue \u00e0 328 millions de kg, soit une baisse de 3,71 tonnes par rapport \u00e0 2013\/14. Cette diminution refl\u00e8te la r\u00e9duction du cheptel ovin due aux taux d'abattage \u00e9lev\u00e9s de 2013\/14, malgr\u00e9 une l\u00e9g\u00e8re augmentation attendue du poids moyen des toisons.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9, Russell Pattinson, a comment\u00e9 que \u201c la baisse de la production de laine tondue refl\u00e8te une diminution du nombre de moutons au d\u00e9but de la saison 2014\/15 et du nombre pr\u00e9vu de moutons \u00e0 tondre, qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9s par les taux \u00e9lev\u00e9s d'abattage de moutons en 2013\/14 \u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

M. Pattinson a ajout\u00e9 que \u201c la production de laine tondue du Queensland et du nord de la Nouvelle-Galles du Sud devrait \u00eatre la plus touch\u00e9e en raison des conditions climatiques difficiles persistantes, tandis que l'Australie-M\u00e9ridionale a connu une reprise gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une bonne saison dans cet \u00c9tat \u201d. \u00c0 l'\u00e9chelle nationale, le poids moyen de la toison devrait l\u00e9g\u00e8rement augmenter.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c0 l'\u00e9chelle r\u00e9gionale, les baisses pr\u00e9vues de la production de laine en 2014\/15 en Nouvelle-Galles du Sud, au Queensland, au Victoria, en Australie-Occidentale et en Tasmanie sont sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 l'augmentation pr\u00e9vue en Australie-M\u00e9ridionale.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Comit\u00e9 a \u00e9galement finalis\u00e9 l'estimation de la production de laine tondue pour 2013\/14 \u00e0 341 millions de kg, conform\u00e9ment aux donn\u00e9es de r\u00e9ception de laine de l'ABS et aux donn\u00e9es d'essai de l'AWTA.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
